Craig Zimmerman named Vice President, General Manager

PromoSuite announced today the promotion of Craig Zimmerman to the newly created position of Vice President, General Manager. Zimmerman was upped from Vice President of Operations, a position he has held for three years.

"Craig's unique background makes him the ONLY candidate for this position," stated PromoSuite Founder/CEO Rocco Macri. "He's able to relate to our clients, he's on top of the new technology trends and he enjoys working together with our talented staff. He has a combined 12 years of experience with PromoSuite as a client, training specialist, consultant and manager. This is the next natural step for him and we are excited to place him in this position for our company."

Zimmerman started his career as Director of Marketing and Promotions at WHUD-FM/New York where he became one of PromoSuite's first clients. Soon, he was "moonlighting" - training other PromoSuite clients on the ins and outs of the software. In 1998 he joined PromoSuite full-time as a Customer Service Representative.

"When I first signed up as a PromoSuite client, only 20 radio stations were using PromoSuite Software", said Zimmerman. "Now we are providing software, building websites and providing email services to over 1000 radio stations. I'm proud of our accomplishments and thankful for the continued support that Rocco and Chris (Bungo, PromoSuite's CTO) provide me and our staff with to serve the radio industry and help this company grow."

He was named AM/FM interactive (purchased by Clear Channel (CCU) in 1999) / New York's Internet Content Director in mid 1999 where he was in charge of the interactive efforts of WALK-FM, WAQX-FM, WHTZ-FM, WKTU-FM, WLTW-FM & WTJM-FM. While in that position, Craig was one of the first to license PromoSuite's ListenerEmail.com - the email communications system he helped design. Craig left Clear Channel in 2001 to start his own company, Dealer Support Group and to consult PromoSuite.
